About

The city fell to the hive. You don't fight with a rifle: you fight from the command tent.

Hire operators, equip them, choose their stratagems and drop them onto a tactical radar map. Once the drop lands, the battle plays out on its own: your squad advances, holds ground, completes objectives and fights whatever crawls out of the nests. Between missions you spend credits to recruit, promote and re-equip.

Each run is twelve stages: missions, random events, PvP stages against squads recorded by other players, and the final boss.

Mouse only. Click to buy and select, hover any icon for details, click and drag on the map to aim the drop.

Development status

Early playtest build. Balance, art and content are still changing. Feedback is very welcome: leave a comment with how far you got and what felt unfair or confusing.

Online features and privacy

The game connects to a small server to power rival squads and the leaderboard. It sends your callsign, a random device ID generated by the game, your squad snapshots and your mission results. No account, e-mail or other personal data is collected. Results are also used to tune game balance.

How to play

In your browser (recommended): press Run game at the top of this page. Nothing to install; your progress is saved in the browser. Use the fullscreen button for the best view. A desktop browser such as Chrome, Edge or Firefox works best.

On Windows: download the .zip, extract the whole folder and run CommandBlacksite.exe. Windows SmartScreen may warn because the game is not signed: choose "More info", then "Run anyway". The browser and Windows versions keep separate saves.
